What are wrinkle reduction injections?
Botulinium toxin (Botox) is a toxin that is injected into facial muscles to stop movement, which will help to soften or eliminate wrinkles.
Which areas can be treated?
Popular areas for treatment include the forehead, frown lines and around the eyes (“crow’s feet”). Other areas include “bunny lines” (lines in the nose), chin (for dimpling), skin bands on the neck (“turkey neck”), and around the mouth (smoker’s lines, downturned corners, gummy smile). The natural look rather than the “frozen” look is achievable.
Are results immediate?
Results are not immediate. Wrinkle reduction injections take up to 2 weeks to start working and can last up to 3 months (lifestyle permitting). We offer a free review 2 weeks after initial treatment to ensure expectations are met.
How long will the procedure take?
A full consultation and treatment takes about an hour. A fine needle is used to inject so side effects are minimal and you can return to work after the treatment.
