• Tear Trough

What is Tear Trough?

The skin of the eye area is very sensitive and fragile, easily revealing the signs of fatigue or age. Eye circles appear first at the corner of the eyes and then spread onto the cheek area. These hollow depressions are caused by a loss of volume below the eyes. Tear trough injections are a hyaluronic acid based injectable gel specifically designed to treat the delicate and sensitive eye circle area. Tear trough treatment is not suitable for pigmented dark circles or for large malar and palpebral bags.

What does the treatment entail?

A cannula is used to deposit the hyaluronic-based product into the tear trough area. The area may be slightly red after the procedure.

Are results immediate?

Yes, they are visible immediately after the injection and last an average 12 months.

How long will the procedure take?

Full consultation and treatment takes about 1 hour.
