What are Dermal Fillers?

As we age our skin loses hyaluronic acid, collagen, elastin, muscle tone and fat. Unwanted lines, wrinkles and folds therefore start to appear which gives us an older appearance. Dermal fillers add volume and improve the appearance of lines and wrinkles by plumping up and resculpting the face, gently and as natural as possible. Our dermal fillers contain natural, resorbable hyaluronic acid which as well as adding volume and reducing wrinkles also promotes deep down hydration and revitalisation of the skin.

Which areas can be treated?

Popular areas for treatment include nasolabial lines (nose to mouth), marionette lines (downward smile, sad face), cheeks and lips. As well as a numbing cream applied to the area for a minimum of 30 minutes, our products contain the anaesthetic agent Lidocaine so pain should not be an issue.

Are results immediate?

Results are immediate but best results are not seen for a further 2-3 weeks after treatment. Dermal fillers can last 6 -12 months depending on area injected, product used and patient lifestyle.

How long will the procedure take?

A full consultation and treatment will take about 60-90 minutes.
